The MongolZ on X: “910 used to live in Darkhan, far from Mongolia’s capital, Ulaanbaatar. All the LAN tournaments were held in the capital, so he had to take the train for hours to compete. If he lost, he had no money for food, no place to sleep, and no way to get back home.”

Who cares
Thought this was an endearing story, and is in my opinion the beauty of CS’s esports scene; that no matter the background, if you have the skill and the passion then you have the chance to make it to even the biggest stages.
Damn, I wonder how many kids that not so fortunate and stuck in Ulaanbaatar because of something like this
Sounds like they built a local scene on lawn chair LANs.
It’s a great way of building success in CS.
Third world countries are hard to succeed in. One of the best rags to riches story I’ve ever heard.
If they made a documentary I’d pay to watch it.
damn. now im a mongolz fan even after the major. rooting for their success.
love to see players rise up in scenarios like this, it’s what makes the CS scene so cool to watch
(also, joking so please don’t crucify me; how is he gonna get home tomorrow then?)
Reminds me of the stories we heard about Luminosity/SK Gaming, my favourite type of underdog story
I HOPE THEY WIN TOMORROW!!
Yeah cool story. A guy called 910 crushed the NA favorite and the US attacked Iran the next day? Couldn’t have make it any more obvious. Try making it more believable next time
Genuinely how can you hate this team. So cracked and came from humble beginnings
Reminds me of the Arslan Ash rise in Tekken FGC
