Unfortunately it doesnt have a ton of ammo, I wish they would give it some more considering it’s only blocking from one side. Definitely good for holding down sites tho!

Not underrated, it just doesn’t have much ammo, but it’s decent to help yo ur mates enter a hardpoint
Its aggravating asf tbh. As soon as I see someone pop I’ll switch to MoW thermite / launcher plus specifically to hunt them down.
for people like myself that cant aim? no, not underrated as i get 1-2 kills MAYBE 3.
i get that’s a skill issue on my part but how “rated” it is depends on how well liked it is by the community vs how well it actually performs.
i feel like the ammo capacity isn’t well used by most people when they can take a vortex gun or claw and get more kills. so i think it’s rated right where it should be. not hated as you can get kills w it, but not beloved as there are way better options. even under ideal conditions, you’re better off picking another op skill that can either get you more kills or have better tactical advantages.
I used to run the Deployable Shield but when the Ballistic Shield came out I changed all my Hardpoint and Domination loadouts for it. Incredibly useful for stalling and defending. It does have its downsides like being vulnerable to explosives and low ammo but throwing a Trophy and using the ammo as a tool helps, enemies always get scared when you pull it out so no need to always mag dump.
