Developer Localtunk of the beloved roguelike deckbuilder Balatro has announced that he has finally completed the game 100%, gaining every achievement on Steam.

This feat is quite significant, as not only did the developer play through the title as any average buyer would need to, in order to achieve this feat, but it’s also an incredibly rare accolade; less than 0.1% of Steam players have earned every achievement for Balatro.

In Localthunk’s latest post, he stated that playing the game has become a part of his daily routine, which many players can undoubtedly resonate with. Further, he believes that this experience has equipped him to better design the upcoming 1.1 update. He’s also eager to go through this process again when the new content is eventually released.

Details on this highly anticipated 1.1 update have not been unveiled, but considering how dedicated Localthunk is to Balatro, it’s reasonable to expect some major gameplay additions.

I have 100% completed Balatro!

Was a ton of fun to hunt for Completionist++. I play a few runs before bed and it’s been a great part of my daily routine. I think it’s also equipped me to better design the 1.1 update
