Congratulations! Hope you enjoy the game. The only advice I can give is SLOW DOWN! The game will push you through the main quest telling you that you only have a limited amount time left. The truth is there is no actual time limit and there is a ton of side quests you could miss out on if you follow the main quest when prompted.

Also, your TV is too high and a bit crooked. But I bet you knew that already.

    This is my set up.

If you can, get a second hand OLED TV, it really makes a difference

  3. Due-Ingenuity9803

Why’s there a white stripe in the image

    As for tips

Put off the quest “The Heist” as long as you can. It’ll save you pain

  4. Loud_Arrival_853

In graphics, especially in a game, let’s say like cyberpunk which will make the dark shady colors really pop

  5. QueenCobra91

genuinely curious which app/game you’ve censored

  6. SlipGroundbreaking98

I find it hilarious that the entire conversations is about the tv placement. No tips about the game at all.

  7. EchoShadow01

The giraffes in the zoo across town would approve of your tv mounting skills

  8. Either-Excitement-37

What’s the blurred out game why the hide 🫥

  9. scaryyyyyy

Don’t look for spoilers, the story is fuckin perfection, I can also highly recommend the Phantom liberty dlc if you end up liking it

  10. Shadow50000

Try and look for the unique weapons in the game. There are a lot of them and they’re all really cool.

  11. Good f****** luck Samurai, you’ve got a city to burn🔥

  12. Beautiful_Put2030

Wow, CDRP got Cyberpunk running on iPad, too?
I was pretty impressed with their ability to launch it on the Switch 2.

  13. Final_Garlic4099

Try a Sandevistan and use a sword, it’s a really fun way to play.

  14. LunaMoon_xx

Just 100% the game. It’s amazing. You’re gonna have an amazing time.

  15. Ashamed-Source3551

If you finish the different fixer’s gigs, you can usually get a pretty nice weapon/cyberware/car. They also help flesh out the lore around Night City, which makes the game way more enjoyable

  16. Llamawitdrama

Complete all gigs, ncpd missions and cyber psycho missions before starting the big heist. You’ll be able to max out one of the attributes before even beginning the actual game. I usually max out technical ability as it lets me open a lot of locked doors throughout the story which sometimes leads to great loot and also, implants galore. It’s also a great base for most builds.

  17. Struggle-Free

You know what’s great about Cyberpunk? It’s so repayable. I am finishing my second run and I enjoyed it more than the first.

  18. hidden-in-plainsight

I can’t even with this guys, I just can’t. I was writing a lot, and none of it was about the game.

    Send help.

Edit: not to me, to OP.

  19. This will probably go unnoticed with the 55 comments already but I would go in blind and just experience the story the way you want to experience it fresh. I wouldn’t read up on how to play the game and I think it’s easy enough to figure out how to do the missions

  20. Zestyclose_Bat4306

Wake the fck up samurai, we’ve got a tv to lower

  21. Kettatonic

Hell yeah! First tho, I’m guessing you’re prolly pretty young, you don’t need to be ashamed of whatever you have fun playing. Playing it with your lil sister means you’re a good older bro. No need to hide it. Anyone who would make fun of that isn’t worth your time anyway.

As for game tips, I would look up what builds there are and pick one. It depends on how you like playing games. Netrunner (essentially realtime hacking) was the most fun for me, but so was a Body build where you can send ppl flying w a punch. There’s no penalty for killing everyone, but also no reward for saving everyone. It’s whatever you want to roleplay as.

Also, others have said, there’s no rush. Even if a character says “I told them you would be there,” you can put it off for IRL weeks. Going slower will help you appreciate how good Night City is. Do the ‘psychos and police scanners (they’re on your map). Take your time and explore. SAVE OFTEN!

Also, this one’s just me, but. If you want to do a romance, use a guide. CDPR (devs, also did Witcher) make the romance choices incredibly specific and unintuitive, so it’s really easy to lock yourself out of a romance you thought you were building.

Finally, Angel is the guy, Skye is the girl. You’ll know what this means when you get there. Lol.

Have fun! My first playthrough ended up being 134 hours and I loved every minute of it. Welcome to Night City! Come back and let us know whatchu think, choom!

PS: if you are young, or even if you live with your parents, FYI there’s a lot of explicit sex and nudity. Maybe not “a lot”, but more than most other M-rated games. Still tasteful, it’s not porn, but there is sex. Some missions take place in brothels. The actual nudity comes more towards the end, but you get to choose your genitals in the character select.

Sooo maybe pay attention to who’s around you when you play. Lol. It’s prolly too much for your lil sister, so maybe don’t play when she’s around. (You can set up parental controls w a PIN on PS5, just FYI.) It’s also incredibly violent, but I assume you know that already. Lol. Good luck!

    My first time play advice:

Need money? Do the NCPD scanner stuff on the map and loot everyone you take down.

Take your time. The main story seems like it’s all gotta happen fast, but you don’t have to run through them.

Character build. Avoid my usual mistake of trying to be a jack of all trades. Pick an ability and keep leveling that up so you can get to the top of a perk tree and explore that niche. The perk trees are all pretty awesome. I bounced off this game the first time I played because I was overwhelmed with the perk trees. When I went back in, I found a build guide online and made a focused character who was great at one or two things and it was night and day for me. Since then, I’ve played three or five more characters with different builds. Most recently I enjoyed the Blunt Weapons path, but I had awesome times with Netrunning, Swords, knives and pistols. Haven’t tried the Assault rifles style yet, but it’s gonna happen eventually.

    Enjoy yourself, choom!

  23. CookieTheEpic

Your TV is so crooked and high you might as well have mounted it upside down and on the Moon.

  24. Ahh, to play this game for the first time! What a wonder!! Some games just give you this sense of…wow! I discovered this great world!!

  25. godmademelikethis

PAY VICTOR BACK BEFORE THE HEIST. besides being the right thing to do, it paces the story better. Same goes for the main missions later on in the game. Do gigs and side missions in between them. Narratively, the game tends to push you from one main quest to a next, which will leave you at the point of no return too quick and you’ll also miss a bunch of stuff that comes to you via phonecall/text etc.

  26. Spicy_bread7

UPDATE: I’ve been playing the game(I uncrooked my tv and the white game is Roblox ) and it’s super awesome also love how there’s a fuck ton of tits in it

  27. vdonohew9

As a player with over 300hrs I’ve got a couple tips for you,

Figure out what build you’d like to try and don’t distribute attribute points evenly you only get 83 of them so spec into specific ones.

Don’t rush through the story certain side quests give access to different endings.

If you can afford it, definitely get Phantom liberty as it is one of if not the best dlc ever created.

Don’t stress about trying to get everything done in one play through, trust me, you’ll play more than one play-through.

Don’t sell iconic weapons I made this mistake. My first play through.

If you want to know more about the weapons or Cyberware in the game definitely watch SamBram he makes a lot of good content.

Have fun Choom, and welcome to night city!

  28. SuspiciousTotal578

I can tell you with a high probability that you just have to enjoy every moment and the whole game itself to the fullest.
don’t rush or anything, just enjoy it. do the secondary, take your time.
    So ENJOY IT CHOOM!!
(NCPDHDP, u will understand later xD).

  29. ScottNewman

Make sure you spend a lot of time bonding with Jackie. He’s your best friend in the world and will be with you all the way to the end of the game. Max out your relationship with him, talk to him as much as possible, you want to really build up as much of a rapport with him as you can. It is worth it to emotionally invest in him as much as you can.

  30. Boring-Reporter-5521

Bros life is about to change forever get ready to dump at least a 100 hours into the base game alone

  31. DivineGodDeity

I bought it last week and I finished it today, one of the endings, not all of them. It’s a really fun and cool game.

  32. Peter_Branch

Be good to Panam Palmer, it leads to my favorite scene in the entire game where you’re in a tank together.

  33. Certain-Clue-95

If you’ve watched edgerunners you can get the main casts guns in game 😚

  34. Don’t sell the iconic weapons.

    Make the side quests.

Choose send *him* to his family.

When you put some chromes, specially double jump and got the air dash perk, try to walk to the objetives instead drive. You will find a lot of secrets and itens in the alleys and will contemplate better the beuty of Night City

  35. I just ordered my copy! Full game on the 64GB cartridge. They deserve my money. Fuck game key cards, forever.
