The organizers will “pull out” players right when they are preparing for the next map

That’s ridiculous, no? I don’t see any player wanting to interview during the playoffs.

  2. sparklepusss

If this is true it’s the stupidest idea ever

  3. Responsible_Lead7140

This is ok only if the players agree to it and if they will increase the time in-between maps

  4. Exciting-Possible203

this is fine and actually a good idea if you want to grow the scene

it happens all the time in traditional sports

  5. So assume the losing team has to interview before map 2 after getting 13-0’d.

I’m not a big fan of something like this when someone mental is out the game atm and an interview is considered necessary..

Of course everybody complaining about something new. This is a good idea. Happens in other major North American sports

fucking why. we already have too many interviews anyways. this is so unnecessary.

“so how’d it feel to have that lead then kinda crumble at the end and let them come back into it?”

    “yeah it felt bad.”

“how’d it feel to dominate that first map?”

    “felt good.”

“Wow you had some issues but then you almost came back in the second half, what are your thoughts?”

“Yes. We kind of threw and its unfortunate we couldn’t make a comeback. We made some mistakes.”

    Ok now back you go…

No different than the NBA interviewing coaches between quarters in the playoffs

I’m not sure I see the value of this but let’s see how it’s executed I guess.

They shouldn’t interview players. They should instead interview coaches if they’re gonna do this. The NBA and NFL do it and it works fine, but doing this when players are prepping for a map is moronic.

Arguably better than post-match interviews. It’s always the same shit.

This too will eventually turn to ‘always the same shit’ as well, but at least it’s fresh for a bit.

I am not surprised, blast doesn’t give a fuck about players at all. They either trying to rage bait with editing and cameraman or stupid shit like this.

  14. I hate it…. ask coaches if you have to, but let players focus….

  15. Maybe they could interview a player from the winning team only?

  16. Ofc Reddit complains, it’s really not that deep, hopefully the players give us funny moments

  17. no_u_mang

Nah, fuck that – let the players focus on their game. There’s no need to distract them with some awkward sideshow. I’d even prefer a commercial break.

  18. In theory it could be interesting but I doubt it will be. What is a player gonna say mid match? It’s hard to get anything worthy at any time let alone at the most nerve-racking moments of their careers

  19. You guys in comments act like this is going to be 10 minutes interview without time to prepare for another map, come on, its going to be few words and off you go, imo good concept

  20. TheBowThief

If any of the players had personalities besides Faze and Apex then this would be cool. Unfortunately we have a bunch of aura-less, zero personality, robots in professional CS right now.

  21. Hell naw, this is not like NBA you can interview a player while he’s on the bench and not playing. CS players need to rest their mind and prepare.

  22. what kind of insight do you expect from them in between the maps? lol
