HSO with slugs absolutely shreds, but if you want a semi auto then Jak12 with fire rounds is the way to go
Argus is more like a marksman rifle, insane ADS spread even with the fastest build, and it’s got the best range being able to 1-shot to the torso out to 50m if you are good enough, but it’s poor at hipfiring, so use it more like the MK2 than an actual shotgun.
HS0 is the powerhouse of the manual action shotguns at the cost of having the longest fire interval.
BY15 is the best at being consistently average and a good one to get you started on the mechanics of using shotguns.
Krm. The bsa is great, and theres the option for slugs. Good mobility, and fair range, too
HSO and KRM are the best pump action shotguns in the game rn. Good in both MP and BR.
You can also try using R90 its pretty fun to use.
If you want full auto then Jak12, personally I wouldn’t because that’s boring and disgusting in my opinion.

The krm is really good for hipfiring, I like it, has ok range, if you want slugs then I would recommend the by15, VERY fun
If you ask me, the best shotgun is just the Argus. No reason to not use it. But I’m, and it makes me angry.
The hs2405 (I think I got the right one) is good. The krm is worse, but shoots faster. The by 15 is worse, but shoots faster. The rouge is worse, but shoots faster + fire damage.
The r9 is quite good. It has a bit of range, while still having the strengths of a standard shotgun. Don’t hipfire though. Stack ads bsa
The shotgun from the picture is so crazy. It has so a crazy range. That I think it’s not a shotgun it’s a normal rifle.
The last shotgun in the list is also a great one. It’s my favourite and the Argus.
Not a shotgun main but I use the HS0 because I love it’s sounds.
R9 is the most forgiving with the fire rate of the second shot being so quick.
KRM and HS0 are both up there too with incredible 1 shot power with the HS0 being more lethal but with a slower firing rate of the two so choose your poison.
JAK 12 and VLK Rogue with thermite rounds are fun and have their uses.
My recommendation would be to try them and see what one best suits your play style and preferred game modes and one will stand out to you.
The most skill-less are Striker max hipfire and Thermite JAK-12
BY15, any decently small map you hip fire when you see a sliding rat and blam! Splat them against the wall and enjoy a fresh TBag. The Argus is tricky to use but the Tbags feel just as good. Use the NA45 for Max TBag
