Why are there so many police officers here?

Because they like pancakes? No idea but they were added in the last patch probably just showing off the different variation of cops in the game

NCPD’s equivalent of a pizza party. It’s higher-ups attempt to convince the police officers that they care. But we all know they don’t.

Actually I’ve been needing to ask I’ve only ever seen the police there after Takemura takes us there. It makes we think they we’re looking for him but it’s also really really close to their headquarters does anyone else know if they do this before konpeki plaza?

To let you experience max tac for a simple assault if you do it in that area lol

Umm cant think of something funny about diddy, I’ll be right back.

  6. Cops are cops. What did you think they’d be doing? Fighting crime? 😆🤣

It’s a reference to US police officers because they actually do things like this during breaks hell there are whole bars that cops visit in when they’re off-duty

I’m pretty sure in lore it’s just a spot that the department adopted as its go to spot for their breaks.

Pretty sure this is after the place gets robbed right?

For me to kill and keep killing until MaxTac is about to come, at which point I change faces.

It’s a cop bar. At least that’s what I assumed when I first saw it. It seems v and takemura were there mid shift

  12. Someone pointed this out last time this question was asked, but you can see a cop talking to two Arasaka agents in the same seats you and Takemura were in. I don’t know if this is scripted to happen before the heist, but it’s fun to think they’re trailing you two.

  13. They want presents, drop them a lovely grenade, they will thank you.

Now that I think it, I’m surprised the game doesn’t have any off duty Maxtac officers. Would be funny if some random dude in cargo shorts walked out a store, and absolutely folded V after witnessing them causing trouble

After I finished the mission to get the Flathead, I was driving near there when Maelstrom did their revenge attack. Cops started to respond to us, and since then, there’s always a ton of NCPD hanging out. One or two usually stays in Tom’s since running in would de-aggro NCPD, and they would just stick around half the time if they chased me in.

If police officers eat there, you can be sure that the food will be really good.

Super fun hacking them with DOTS/spread and watching them explode.

Dammit, alright I’ll log back in today

God I love dumping a contagion or two in there.

The first time I saw this, I assumed that someone called in a tip following our meeting. It could also just be a favored lunch spot for the NCPD. It’s a rough town – I’m sure a lot of officers are keen on having a piece of friendly and familiar turf to sit down and not have to look over their shoulders every three seconds.

If they were following a lead for the Saburo Arisaka “assassination,” it would be a bit poetic. They are stretched thin six days a week…but with some corporate pressure, they find enough officers from every division to fill the entire property. Something, something committing our best resources into finding the perpetrator. And since it’s a dog and pony show, there really isn’t anything for all of them to do and they end up hanging around.

  20. Damn, I can’t believe the diner turned into a pig pen

You’ve really never heard of a station diner/bar? There’s almost always a nearby restaurant or bar that gives cops from the area a good discount and basically all of them hang out there between calls for lunch or after shift.

    Tom’s Diner is great man.

Surprised me first time I saw it too, haha.
