I wish Bohemia interactive had this take.

If there’s anything to say to get gamers on your side its that. Its almost too direct actually.

    > “Once The Game Is Purchased, It Belongs To The User”

This is going to make western studios/publishers very mad.

  5. iDoMyOwnResearchJK

He’s a real one frfr . Might have to play this game just off that.

  6. “Adult Mods”

I hate that term i get why it was used but it lumps in way to many of them to one dirty term

Be it adding blood/gore or just getting rid of ugly armors or in the oblivion remaster i added in the better character maker heck bbe? the fallout body replacer that too is a dirty adult mod.

Baldurs gate 3 your also a dirty evil pervert using adult mods when you alter the relationships of the characters. Yet perhaps the user does not want romance all the time.

Back in the day when you modded a game it was a who cares but now sites censor/pull/edit or put the down loader in a box make them a outcast.

Edit: i think gooner is the new term?

All i know i was perma banned on R oblivion for supporting a patch and after a mass attack for saying they removed/censored female armors when the game came out. The mod said it was the use of the P word against a reddit user no proof just banned.

So yeah hate that term and all mod censorship/categorization in this sense

I love this dev, he’s saying all the right things. Glad I got the game on Steam.

  8. Interesting thing to say for a Denuvo game.

  9. “That’s why we included Denuvo Anti-Tamper in our singleplayer game, so that if their servers go down, you no longer get to play it.”

I’m not the type of girl to care about DRM that much, but this is very much an ironic statement. First ever Sony game to do it, by the way.

Who is even pushing the idea that you shouldn’t be allowed to modify a single player experience in order to simultaneously take subtle jabs at this game’s audience?

    Gee, I wonder.

  11. SeiferLeonheart

I have zero interest in gooner mods, but that’s based AF.

  12. Madrock777

Yes, that is how buying things works. I’m annoyed this has to be said. If you buy something it’s yours now. You can do with it as you wish. I’m happy he takes this stance.

  13. _Fun_Employed_

Not a huge fan but he knocked this one out of the park. Though I would be surprised if his publisher agrees.

  14. FireCrow1013

This is obviously a good attitude, but he’s also the one who was saying that Denuvo isn’t an issue. So, sure, mod to your heart’s content, until the unneeded DRM that he decided to use says you can’t launch the game that “belongs” to you, and all of those mods become worthless.

I love how such a little statement can help your marketing so much. Kinda funny that a lot of studios don’t understand that

  16. conurewest

mfs really celebrating this as if the game doesn’t have denuvo slapped on top of it lol

  17. Berger43

I’m sorry, that kind of language just won’t do in this adventure capitalist mobile game that we live in.

  18. asian_chihuahua

Dayumn. Huge respect for these guys.

  19. pimpao10

So the game is mine now?

ALL OF YOU, STOP PLAYING MY GAME!

  20. jaoskii

Its just easy as that. I really don’t know why some of the publishers , studios complicate things lmao.

  21. HarpooonGun

Words are good and I appreciate them and their stance, but this doesn’t really mean much unless your game is also on GOG as a DRM free game.

  22. the_doorstopper

I could get behind that… If it was on platforms/accessible in a way that indicated that. Like Gog.

  23. NVAudio

Just with that one sentence, that developer has guaranteed themselves a loyal fan base.
