Guess my social life is taking a backseat again. Game on, Remedy!

I wish it was third person, otherwise looks like a cool game

I played it a grand total of staggering 15 minutes because it finished downloading before I had to take off to work, just to take a peek, but it feels a bit off. Guns don’t feel too great, just very much ok, melee (wrench) swings weirdly stiff, doesn’t stagger anything or have much weight to it.
So it’s not a review or anything, just that first gameplay impression wasn’t great but I’ll probably give it a few hours in the evening lol, hope it feels better when I have the time.
Maybe my expectations are a bit too high because I saw it compared to DarkTide and such and that’s a bit of a high bar gameplay wise :/

Doesn’t look groundbreaking or anything but launching an online co-op game in both subscription services is probably the best way to get a player base. Avoids the f2p tag while still basically handing it to a large playerbase.

I’m always down for another coop shooter and a plus its set in the Remedy universe! I don’t use gamepass or PS Plus Premium so I’ll have to see if the reviews make it worth the $40.

30% positive reviews on steam, just put the fries in the bag.

No shade, but it is not fun. It’s woefully unbalanced and doesn’t feel good.

Got it downloaded and ready for after work. Feel like the marketing is gonna be a big drag with many people not knowing it’s a Control related game but hopefully there are people to play with.

Companies that thrive with single-player experiences need to stop trying to make live service games.

This and some of the comments have to be an ad….. Pretty sad honestly.

Didn’t know this was going to release today. I already have gamepass so I’m definitely going to try it out at some point this week. No harm in that. it might be fun for a few

I’m a die hard Control fan and I wish this game success.
That being said, I couldnt fucking stand this arcade nonsense.

Played the first mission solo because after waiting 20 minutes, I was only matched with one partner and it was rough. The guns felt like they had no impact, melee combat was a joke, and the equipment had almost no range. To make things worse, the mission ended in less than five minutes.
I don’t know, maybe the gameplay gets better after some upgrades, but as a first-time experience, it really wasn’t great.

Game is awful. Tried my hardest to like it as a big Control fan but just couldn’t. Seriously doubt this game survives. Bring on Control 2 already

No content, should be labeled early access, and isn’t fun to play? Steam’s right. It *is* like Darketide.
