No one expected s1mple to be playing and performing this well at pro level let alone the major after that infamous drunk stream rant. But FaZe gave him the respect he deserved and put their trust in him, even when most had written him off as washed. That belief might’ve been the spark he needed to rise again. If he wins the Major, it’ll be one of the greatest comeback stories in CS history. Faze and Karrigan also deserve a lot of credit for make it easier for s1mple to gain the magic we all were missing in CS2
