But I’d definitely risk being held at gunpoint if it meant getting that.
Square-Instance9677
Maybe.
You could be robbed for literally ANYTHING, no matter how worthless or valuable it is 😂
Affectionate_Egg1742
Maybe have him meet you inside a police station?
cap_tan_jazz
This, lots of police departments have an area with cameras and officers close by for this purpose
simagus
They do appear to be slightly lowballing themselves which is suspicious unless they really really need quick cash.
If they really really need quick cash… yeah… hmm..

could either be 1. fake, 2. someone dumb, 3. stolen, 4. it has issues with it they arent telling you about, 5. someone who wants fast cash for drugs lmao
my police station here has a spot for meeting people for stuff like that, id literally just tell them to meet there
TooBuffForThisWorld
Go to a police station; high chance it’s stolen anyways at that price
TerrorBilly44
Could be, I’ve sold airsoft guns in huge lots and gave away free stuff with them to make it more appealing and sell quicker.
No_Summer_2917
Take a big gun with you I think ar15 or ak47 will do the job. Shopping a pc parts in 2025 without a gun is kinda risky.
Dee5280
I mean if I was going to rob someone I’d just do it for jewelry or maybe a 5090 I’m not about to rob your ass for a whole pc set up🤣 watch out for counterfeit bills tho.
NOLAgenXer
Always bring someone else with you to film these transactions and always do it in public. If they don’t consent to filming they don’t consent to your money.
Ppl die for bumping into each other. You could be killed for anything.
The odds that someone dumb enough to try and rob u over this and knowing what this shit is and how to sell it is rather low tho. Probably more likely for something apple related or a console. Risking an armed robbery charge for less than a grand is wild but it happens
Evil_Eukaryote
A few times I’ve lowballed myself just because I really wanted something sold quickly.
But this is wild cheap. Definitely meet in public. Good luck.
Appropriate_Jump_579
Do the deal in front of a police station or if they designate a spot for this. For me I got someone who will buy anything from me because I sell my old parts for cheap.
Sold him a x370, 1600x, and 32 gb of ram for $80. I gave it away initially to get someone into pc gaming and I got it back so I sold it.
ATGonnaLive4Ever
Eh. The real move is you swap out the parts like processor, graphics card, memory, etc. for older junk and try to close the transaction quickly before the buyer has any chance to realize. Make sure you look at the internals and verify it’s all what he says it is. If he starts in with anything that sounds off, it probably is.
ProduceCharacter3561
I bought a MacBook and met up at city hall, which had a place specifically for meeting up and buying/selling things, if your really worried, worth looking into if your local library/city hall/ police station has a meetup area
reddit_kid99
meet by police station or a populated store

In addition to everyone else’s advice, I recommend reverse image searching the pictures from the post.

Do a reverse image search to make sure the pics weren’t taken from somewhere else too

Someone tried to rob me at gunpoint in the alley behind my house. Be cautious always. Nothing more to say.
Sketchylimeade
I mean maybe? I’d be safe either way but realistically dudes don’t post things that do that kinda stuff cause that’s a trail. More likely that he’s broke and rents due no matter what.

If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.
But I’d definitely risk being held at gunpoint if it meant getting that.
