I wish the line “Father, why have you forsaken me” in Lullaby Of A Deadman was explored a bit more in the story.
Like, obviously this line was written before Sam existed as a character, but if you _do_ apply it to Sam it gets interesting.
Like, the way she reacts to her fathers death is basically just “oh no, he was chill, Im mad hes dead its Edwards fault”, but this line would indicate she’s also upset at him for leaving her. Shooting himself for basically dramatic effect, leaving Sam all alone, like she usually is. And I think having that expressed more would’ve made things a bit more interesting than how 1 dimensional the whole situation feels as is.
