The Season 3 patch for Street Fighter 6 recently went live. Quite a lot has changed considering the adjustments that have been applied.

Shortly after the release of the Season 3 patch, many notable figures released their “winners and losers” tier lists. However, it would seem that VesperArcade decided to let things settle a little bit before posting his own takes.

The vast majority of the fighting game community believes that Ryu was the overall biggest winner of the latest update. Needless to say, this is not a take that VesperArcade disagrees with as he also believes that Ryu feels a lot stronger now.

However, VesperArcade also asserts that Chun-Li is almost just as much of a winner as Ryu. During his video, VesperArcade even suggests that Chun-Li feels like a sleeper top tier thanks to the buffs she’s received, though it may take some time before others realizes this.

Ultimately though, most of the characters feel basically the same as they did before. Not counting Elena herself, there are a total of 14 characters found in the unchanged tier category.

Of course, not everyone were lucky enough to receive only buffs to their kits. VesperArcade mentions Akuma, Mai and Ed as being the biggest losers of the patch, but he also mentions the possibility that they could still be strong despite the setbacks.
