I honestly don’t mind a real life radio station, as long as the classic typical gta radio stations are there.
And if i played gta onljne for 2000 hours i heard the radio stations a thousand times so a station with constant new music is refreshing.
They will fuck over the artists though.
This is certainly interesting to keep the radio fresh but if you don’t like modern .music i imagine this just sucks.
I’d rather it let me make my own radio or let it link to a music platform of my choice, that would be amazing.

Pretty sure with the money invested and potentially made, Rockstar could just add a live radio station to the game. This said, that won’t make them as much money as musician’s paying them for it instead.
Rockstar should make their own DSPs that will integrate with GTA 6
In other words, GTA has become the hyperconsumerism drab it used to make fun of in earlier instalments

I just find this so hard to believe. The radio is a central pillar in contributing to GTA and its atmosphere. This idea sounds unfathomably stupid. Just keep the curated stations.
But I listen to the radio in GTA for the hilarious dj/host dialogue. If custom playlists are to be a thing where will I get my laughs

I never gave a shit about the music on the radio in GTA. I always listened to it for the funny talk show stuff and the news reports about what you’ve been doing recently in the game.
