What ever is happening at 17 seconds over the croc mask looks awful, it’s hard to tell if it’s a shader issue or frame gen ghosting, surprised they put this in the trailer.

After Demon Souls and RE4 remakes, I’m not impressed in the slightest. Looks like a remaster masquerading as a remake. They’ll charge $60-$70 for this which is the worse part smh

I’m a huge MGS fan. I’ll obviously play this. My biggest beef is how fucking long it’s taken to release given what it truly is. The exact same engine, cutscenes, gameplay, etc just with new graphics slapped on top. Why was this announced 2-3 years ago and still not out? It’s not a remake. Maybe I sound ignorant but I do not get it lol

If this game plays and feels like MGS3, but just looks like Unreal Engine 5, I won’t play it. Nostalgia alone does not make games good.

Should I play the original or wait for this? I’ve tried to get into it but I never get past the first area for some reason. I guarantee I just wasn’t giving it enough focus and it had been a while since playing mgs so maybe I wasn’t feeling the gameplay style at the time.

This game is clearly a remaster, not a remake. This installment is my favorite out of all of them, but it’s really sad to see 1 and 4 get neglected. Is MGS4 even available on other platforms? Twin Snakes as well?

Shouldn’t this game be considered a remaster rather than a remake? It clearly uses the same game logic as the original, but ported to a new engine with upgraded visuals and resolution.

Is it just me or is the lighting really bad on this? Like, it’s noticeable on the the fights with the Fury and Volgin especially. This was probably my favorite MGS game, but not sure I’ll bite on this one.
