    Cyberpunk isnt neon lights and sunglasses – it’s about working class, *low life* people being abused by the ultra wealthy through technology. A lot of those people come from marginalized backgrounds. Including them in cyberpunk stories is pretty core to the experience since a lot of cyberpunk genre is based on South African apartheid or from Japanese 80s punk culture.
