This game has made me realize why Rockstar parted ways with Leslie Benzies

I wouldn’t call it a scam but certainly released before it was ready, probably thanks to publisher pressure

  3. “GTA killer”

Was he on drugs when he said this? this pile of dog shite can’t even kill GTA2.

Such a great meme, Nico always had a pointšŸ¤”

I know nothing about the game though first time I heard of itšŸ˜…

This game literally came out of nowhere for me, with people I follow on Twitter posting about it all simultaneously. It’s a bizarre situation since I have no idea what Mindseye is.

Hey, hey my caasin, it’ll be a-ok, ok? Everybody get refunded, everybody happy, right? Alriiiight Niko my caasin!!

I have literally never heard of this game before Reddit started talking about it.

This post feels like an ad just so people will go and look what the hell it even is. I’m better off not knowing i think.

  9. I’ve got 2 hours in and, since it’s got its flaws I think the story & gameplay are good, could be way better of course, but it’s ok

  10. I played it for a few hours yesterday before reddit told me I’m supposed to hate it and I’ve had fun. I’ve run into zero bugs and wasn’t aware of any of the stuff it had been marketed as so that probably helped me having zero expectations of what it was supposed to be allowing me to just enjoy what it was.

Not everything has to be a scam. It can just be shit.

  12. Am I dumb? I literally never heard of this game before today. For such a seemingly ambitious title, I’ve seen zero marketing for it.

Was it even at SGL being promoted there? Did I black out and miss it?

Dont preorder, let the reviews drop, save money. Only fools and rubes buy games day one anymore

I wouldn’t call it a scam. Day Before, now that was a scam.

At best it missed the mark entirely and presumed way too much about having Benzies on the team.

At worst a boardroom shot for a middling game they can make with minimum effort but missed entirely and made an objectively bad game that they now have to double down to save or abandon and risk becoming another Day Before.

    It’s not good either way.

“Where is game that would be a mix of GTA’s action and Deus Ex[‘s] philosophical exploration?”?

E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy. It even throws in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.’s janky charm and Goat Simulator’s glorious bugfuck, too.

The people who posted pics of this game ā€œpreorderingā€ are wild, who pre orders in 2025

  17. Absolutemehguy

I don’t think that word means what you think it means.

  18. Pasta_Baron

It’s a 6-6.5/10 title, not everything is a scam because it’s not a very well made game. Y’all are so delicate lol.

Not every game has to be open world filled with capture this area and repetitive tedious collectibles to craft stuff and upgrade points scattered all across the map. I don’t know about you, but I have an open world fatigue and I would rather play linear games. This game is an unoptimized mess but it’s far away from being a scam. Is it the best game in the world ? No but if they fix the bugs and the performance then I can see some people liking the game and having fun.

  20. shrug, I’m having fun with it. Nice linear action game. A real performance hog but no game-breaking bugs.

  21. Who trusts marketing anyways. Their entire point is to find the border of lying too much but still get away with it to maximise sales.

Wait a year or so, get the game for a discount and with all expansions and bugfixes, and you’d have heard if the game is actually good or not. If the game is good, it’ll even still have a community going on.

That’s actually a great description of the game so far.
