My Personal opinion about STEN
It's very close to MP40 in terms of stats but I think it's a overall better one
1) Recoil – I think biggest Advantage here is the Recoil I can control it much better It def has better recoil than mp40 I run grip with MP40 often but I just slap no grip with STEN
2) Much better Headshot multiplier Helps a lot with orders honestly MP40 has less headshot damage meanwhile If you headshot with STEN you will kill your opponent very very fast
3) Much better iron sights I really actually love Iron Sights on Default Sten variant a lot way better than MP40 I can go for Headshots much better
4) Overall I think anything else is same with MP40 but I think thanks to Recoil and Headshot multiplier and iron sights I like this weapon way better than MP40
but yeah what do you people think about STEN?

Just really average, the rooted variant has some really good iron sights but that’s all what I like about it tbh

Not awful, not great.
The skull charging handle is super edgy
It’s not the Erma.
It’s a good gun and it handles well . Becomes useless at mid range like 75 percent of smgs.
Below par imo (Fire rate, damage, range and visual recoil). The MP40 feels lot better to me especially since it doesn’t have bouncy visual recoil like the Sten.
You’re also missing a super important factor: MP40 Style points🤣🤣 it’s just beautiful, especially the All Out || Variant. Rooted || is nice but it doesn’t compare to having an MP40 in your hands🤌🏻
In reality it is cheap and provided England submachine guns in very bad time. For England it is brilliant but anyways it has some disadvantages especially in comparing with others examples
I’m surprised reading the other comments.
I feel unstoppable with this gun, even when stock with no attachments. I just run around hipfiring and it’s just a laser Gatling at that point.
Of course when I can get steady aim, rapid fire, and extended mag it’s that much better. Prob my favorite SMG.
I bought this game around the time it released and I STILL HAVENT UNLOCKED ALL THESE DAMN GUNS!!!
