I managed to get some Hynix HMAA2GU6CJR8N-XN (2x16Gb) for extremely little money. They don't have an XMP/EXPO profile or anything and they seem to be Hynix C-die. So I was wondering if there's any potential overclocking these or if it's a lost cause? My motherboard and cpu are not great (ASRock B760M-HDV/M.2 D4 with a i5-14400f). It's my first ever basic kit directly from one of the 3 manufacturers with no profiles so just curious about people's experiences overclocking sticks like these.

3200 CL22 is likely to be an extremely bad bin. You can still try to tweak it though, it might surprise you. I do not know what is the maximum safe voltage for those chips so I would stay within 1.45v. Lots of stress testing needed to validate stability for each timing adjusted. Use testmem5 0.13 with 1usmus or anta777 profile.
H16c according to edens ddr4 guide basically just djr with looser trfc so should be pretty decent for high clock though you should probably stick to ~4000 g1 for that chip given the board at worst 3800
