Now the 1 important question not answered .

What are the CPU Temps ? while playing 2077

  2. dwolfe127

I could see that if it was without RT/PT running at 1920×1080 with framegen and DLSS on performance.

Ok, Ultra settings… now let’s see the raytracing! And the temperature! And the battery life! And the fact that it probably costs as much if not more than a higher-end gaming PC!

  4. vackodegamma

I hope that the image quality is also nice and not 720p upscaled via MetalFX while frying the SOC.

  5. nndscrptuser

If you bought it on Steam for PC I wonder if you can download the Mac version….

  6. ain’t no way this is running on a notebook chip without at least FSR upscaling

  7. I mean it’s a unique engine. Probably takes less work to make it run for a specific chip set, they’re just showing off how much time and effort they can put into pandering for apple.

See guys. Apple is a totally legit gaming platform.

It can even play some Nintendo Switch titles.

  9. Still gonna be %50-%100 more than …. literally any other build to do the same.

  10. Still gonna be %50-%100 more than …. literally any other build to do the same.

So, we get a Macbook playing Cyberpunk before…

Argh, they almost made me say it.

  12. tilero1138

People celebrating Apple as if they aren’t the exact kind of corporation Cyberpunk warns about

If it’s rasterized then it’s not impressive, but if it’s RT then it’s sort of impressive.

Now if it was PT than that would be obscene.

  14. At what resolution? With or without raytracing?

  15. drainetag

120 FPS on Ultra Settings and 55 ping because we were streaming it from a cloud

  16. Hahaha Apple boasting about being able to play a 5-6 year old game. Sounds about right

  17. You can game just fine on Mac. If you install windows and want subpar performance per dollar spent. I say this as someone with Macs.

  18. Really cool.

The real question is how long can it run before it thermal throttles?

Sure you can get 120fps for 30 seconds, but then what happens when it heats up and that tiny fan in it can’t keep it cool?

  19. zangief137

That’s dope. Still would get a PC for gaming.

I run it on my M2 on an ultrawide monitor and it looks and sound so much better than the PS5. It’s literally a night and day difference.

  21. I mean it’s plays on the switch 2. “Running” it doesn’t mean much.
