I hope the focus is single-player. I did enjoy Splatoon 2 and 3, and played them for hundreds of hours, but I’m not quite as much into PvP anymore.
This announcement certainly fuels my interest in a Switch 2. Haven’t gotten one yet, because I don’t *really* need yet another system, but games like this have pull.

Cool. I like the series world and aesthetic but I don’t care for PvP and the campaigns haven’t been substantial enough to get a purchase out of me.
I’ll need to see more but it seems like the perfect Splatoon game for me if it’s fully PvE focused.
