Hot take: The loadout system needs to die and looting for weapons/attachments needs to return like it was in the original blackout. Warzone as it is currently constructed devolves into ‘find a decent enough weapon I can use for 5 minutes until I can buy my OP weapons’.
It cuts out one of the core aspects of a battle royale – finding loot and making it actually feel **valuable**.
Be honest, when was the last time you opened a crate and said ‘Oh shit! I found a legendary weapon! I’m about to own!!’

So let’s put this out there, they gonna run Warzone and Blackout at the same time so they don’t alienate their userbase by just having Blackout on next gen, watch things crumble with less people playing and less sales in the process for their store.
I highly doubt that either release Blsck Ops 7 as current gen or go all out and do the whole thing on previous gen no in-between!
Also Avalon was also being touted as the next Zombies map for either Black Ops or Modern Warfare, just speculation and rumors really at this point.

The actual leakers have stated Avalon will be apart of the campaign way before and after the trailer.
Way more confident in them compared to someone who has seen a 3 second clip of a blackout looking map and ran with it.

This hasn’t be substantiated enough but it wouldn’t be the first time shit leaked from a streamer in the metaphor circle. I think it makes alot of sense that they’d want to transition people onto current gen consoles before mw4 since thats going be the first ps5 XS exclusive to the franchise. I’m sure they’ll keep warzone servers active for a year or two instead of just 6 months like last time though just because last gen still makes them money

Why would this surprise anyone? Their game is held together by spaghetti code and each time they update something they break another. So their “solution,” is to redo it for one “last time,” so they can do it all over again. Three titles last time, three titles this time, then a reboot.

Why would they do this? There’s no point in replacing your massively successful BR in warzone with a significantly less popular one from 6 years ago that most players of warzone don’t even know existed.
