    There’s also been a lot of save file loss lately with older games like Unity or AC4 on PC with very little chance of getting the save files back. People have been near 100% completion and lost their progress. And it keeps happening. They don’t want people to play their old titles. Ubisoft sucks the big one.

    Just a reminder there is a tiny flag button on steam store page to report games as broken and co, use it

    If ubisoft ignore it and still sell the game, maybe if enough reports the store page get, valve/steam going to do something to force ubisoft to take action or give a statement

    AC 2 is the only Assassins creed game ive played, when it was free on xbox Gold once, i loved the mission where you flew a plane from Leonardo davinci so much, it helped me in history class once too

    Shame ubislop became so hostile to their own older titles…

    I was unaware AC 2 was even playable on pc in the first place. I bought the whole series for cheap when it went on giga sale last year and could not for the life of me get that one to work

    I uninstalled AC Odyssey as I could not start it anymore using my Steam library. The game kept crashing, and I wasn’t even able to load a save. Worked perfectly months ago, before they added some updates.

    I know they killed off the online services for it around 2 years ago. But going by the text, did they add their shitty always online DRM back again to look for a connection? As that screen was the same screen I did see the first weekend this game was alive, and all their servers died every 5 min for 3 days straight
