144Hz isn’t an upgrade, it’s a life sentence.

Yes that’s why I’m sticking with 1080 it’s cheap for 144hz. But I can baar 80-90 in Singleplayer Games

  2. VietNamRiceField

And i accept it with open arms

  3. TheReturnOfAnAbort

You can literally see 60 hz refresh after doing anything above 120

I can’t believe you used this when the “true level” scene is exactly the same experience.

  5. Credelle1

I got a 170hz monitor and I still can play at 60 fps fine, y’all are just too spoiled

It’s sad that this is true. I was a diehard 60fps is all you need type of person for a long time ….until I experienced 144hz. Not anything less seems wrong. Even if the game is only getting 60fps on a 144hz screen, for some stupid reason it feels smoother. Maybe a placebo effect idk

Tbh to me anything below 60fps is dowg shit and anything above 60fps i cant tell the differenc in game.

  8. Deimos_Aeternum

60hz looks like slow motion compared to 120hz

  9. Abrakresnik

Mine is 180hz with 2560x1440p. Its lovely.

  10. teufler80

I still see people online who claims that they dont see a difference in between 60 and 144 fps lol

This is why FG is good.

    60 > ~110 feels great

Lower FPS and stuttering aren’t the same thing.

My laptop’s monitor is set to 165Hz, I still generally play games on my 60 Hz 1440p external monitor.

should of used the panel where rick leveled the floor to perfectly flat lol.

  15. JaggedMetalOs

Having grown up with CRTs, 60hz LCD has always looked stuttery.

But true level exists. Why not use that for a meme?

I don’t know, I’m still okay with 60Hz, but the 30Hz on my Switch can be a pain sometimes

  18. Constant-Engine-596

I just cap everything at 80 so it never dips below 60. Everything looks great to me.

The first minute or so of firing up Deltarune my eyes were like “NOOOOO!”. I did get used to it eventually though.

  20. Wake-n-jake

I haven’t even ventured further but after a couple years I can see the background jitters in 144 at 1440 but I just upgraded and I can’t go further on my budget of nothing.

    1440p 27inch

    240hz

    It feels like ice

    144hz now side monitor

  22. I have a 270hz and 120 looks awful now 🙁

  23. So where do I fall if my Mo tie is for some reason 165hz?

  24. Several_Foot3246

i got a 165hz and it looks fine but below 60 ya

storytime, i’m played Doom the dark ages and the games runs at about 60-100fps medium, but there’s a part in level 14 where there’s a very open area and alot of enemies and it stutters to like 50 but the game is so fast it looks like the game a major stuttering

  25. jakellerVi

I put myself through shock therapy for a while with Tears of the Kingdom at 30 FPS and force myself to adjust to it so I can appreciate 60 FPS again…but now TotK is 60 FPS on Switch 2 and I’m lost yet again 🥲

  26. __laughing__

I have 75-100hz for this reason. Also saves money :p

  27. havesomefun-

Anything under 240hz in 2025 is wild ngl.

  28. KlopperSteele

More like the perfect level scene.

  29. You know what would fit better?

    The leveling incident.
