First time playing through this game or enjoying a replay? FEAR is just sooo darn good.

There were a few times playing Metro Exodus where there would be a *really* good stash of gear lying around compared to the usual scraps and I’d be like “wow I’m about to get fucked up huh”

First Encounter Assault Recon… fond memories of FEAR, damn near shat myself a couple of times the first time I played it back then.

Why is the next room a large open area?

I recently replayed through the first two games and their DLC on Hard difficulty. It was a blast. The adrenaline keeps you going the entire time. I hope you have a wonderful experience with these games. They’re some of my favorites.
Better hoard all these supplies until the end of the game just in case.

What I hate is when games have very specific types of encounters (ie: exploration vs fights) and you can know what is going to happen just by the layout of the room. Like finding bricks and cover in Last of Us or seeing gargoyles in Batman Arkham. It really makes the experience feel more like a game. That stuff should be more seamless thorough the game.

FEAR only had the one boss fight and while yes, fuck that mech, it wasn’t here.
