can someone do the maths on me what games would cost today if they properly adjusted/raised up with inflation?

I’m never paying that much for any game especially when they will be at least 50% off after release.

I’m not sure how this one game is an “obvious marketing push” for game pass when literally every firstparty Microsoft title is always on gamepass day 1.

I’m really grateful to Microsoft they prepared a separate panel for this cringe yesterday.

Is death stranding 2 a push for Psplus? Is mario kart world a push for Nintendo online? Maybe the second one can be considered tbf as it has online multiplayer, but you don’t get the game even if you are subscribed
Edit: I’m not defending the price btw

While it’s clear that the price of games stayed at $60 longer than it should have, they really should have eased in the price increases. Instead of $10 jumps, maybe do $5 jumps.

Why isn’t this post about Nintendo and their 80 dollar games?

For a good quality single player with no micro transactions I have no problem paying that amount. My issues with gaming prices comes down to games that also include microtransactions

Little bit ironic. Dontcha think?
I got enough games in my backlog and wishlist that I’ll be able to wait for games to go on sale for the foreseeable future

Thanks Nintendo.

“Anti capitalist” I’m waiting until for the creators or original writers to come out and reveal

You kids never would have survived buying N64 games back in the day. I payed 119.99 plus tax for Golden Eye.
You all need a nice big cup of shut the fuck up.

Is it the first? Cos Doom: The Dark Ages is £69.99 for the base edition on Steam.
