I am just asking, I genuinely loved his voice and he was my favorite character. This is really sad for me.

They nerfed Hidora and Phantom so hard. They had so cool voices, I liked using them a lot due to it. Now they sound-weird, especially after you’ve heard their previous voices.
IT IS POSSIBLE that they cannot keep using the original voice-overs due to issues with their contracts, maybe some shit fell through, etc.
For real. They did my boy Hidora dirty changing his voice to that. ðŸ˜
