I’m kind of the tech guy for a large family with a lot of teenage cousins and the sheer amount of “it keeps lagging” fixes I need to go do are just scraping off layers of dust from heatsinks on PCs and Playstations is insane.

No hose? How can you clean without a hose!?

The true crime is that shitty cooler in an Alienware PC that probably cost a few thousand bucks

I have a habit of not cleaning my computer regularly and it’s the same reason as everybody else.
It’s tough, time consuming and also difficult to clean a computer due to having to dust areas that aren’t easily reachable due to narrow gaps or lack of space, I also don’t know how frequent the computer should be cleaned as well.
Don’t worry, I do manage to clean my computer when it does get sluggishly slow but that’s after a few months of use.
I’m also not counting out the fact that people are lazy. That’s also a highly considerable option for most cases involving not cleaning their PCs.

Bro, a PC from my institute had been without maintenance for 20 years and it didn’t get to that point either.

I just found [the official vibe of this video](https://youtu.be/jb9Jhis78Vk) and OH MY GOD it’s gold for working in a PC workshop.

I actually really enjoy cleaning mine out. I moved a few months ago and have been very busy so had not cleaned it in about 5 or 6 months. My gpu/cpu got about 10c better temps lol.

This got more and more wild as it went on, I loved it.

If I didn’t clean my server pc every 6 months or so it too would look like that. They quite literally attract dust.
Speaking of that, my desktop is probably nastier than my server pc. Don’t let the greatest technician that ever lived see that I guess.

This keeps reminding me I have yet to clean my girlfriends pc even though at best it’s only ever going to be used for YouTube and Netflix, maybe a game of balloon fortress 6 here and there

A 10-year-old hard drive that’s bouncing around in the drive cage is surely a good way to store data in your PC repair shop.

Oh man, I had that same Alienware case, and it was definitely the biggest piece of shit I’ve ever owned. Mine got almost as dirty as his, and there was only one cheeto warrior involved.

My store pc had an i7700 and 32GBs of ram, 12 TBs of Samsung Binaries really made it slow. That and the dust of an unfinished concrete floor

Eh most computers come into the workshop looking like that. A proper air compressor can fix most of it in under a minute.

Fake video. Components look brand new but for some reasons there is an unrealistic amount of dust
