Dude whats worse is my case literally lets you take off the top panel and i did NOT realize this until the PC was already built..

  2. Pro-tip: plug it in before installing the motherboard in the case, or at least before installing the cooler.

i actually cut my finer on the vrm heat sink, why the fuck do they have to make it so sharp lmao

like, why does it need to be in the upper left corner? why not above the ram?

I mean, I know why but still. I’ve got these big man hands, a large heatsink for a powerful cpu, and very little room to plug a small connector in. it doesn’t help that said heatsink is easier to install while outside of the case so I do that and be able to hold the entire motherboard by grabbing on said heatsink and lining it up with the mount points.

leasons learned and all that. best to plug it in before installing the motherboard if possible.

or maybe invest in some long nose pliers.

Oh yeah, I learned this one after after dealing with it once. It was a chunky ass AIO that cock blocked the CPU power lmao. Had to take out the radiator which was a pain
