I see Star wars battlefront 1 or 2 on the right side, a man of culture.

I just think of Pineapple Express.

You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos, mf!!

Just curious. Which 360 version are you playing?

That 360 camera was legendary. I use to play a poker game that would show each player’s camera during their turn. We set up leagues and tournaments and everything back in 2007.

And then of course there was Uno. The crazy shit you would see playing Uno 2006-2008 was unreal. One time I beat this kid like 5 times in a row and he sent me a picture of himself bent over with his pants off and there was a big Sharpie marker sticking halfway up his asshole.

  5. Damn dude you had the whole Delta Squad. That means you must’ve gotten that pack with them and the geonosians

Had the VCR TV combo with a blank cassette on standby to hit record when you knew you were about to do something Special.

i had one of the first 55 inch plasma tvs around this time .. my first gaming console was a PlayStation and it was hooked up to a CTR pc monitor to avoid the UK TV tax

When we were all okay with tvs the size of microwaves

The controller that looks like it’s about to slide off of the TV is peak

Love it! Part of the criminally small CRT gang! I regret ever getting rid of it now because it would be great for my older consoles.

  11. I hope to find a pic like this of my desktop WoW setup from 2004-2006

Ah, Masterchief. He’s a pretty cool guy who doesn’t afraid of anything.

Looks very similar to my 2007 setup once I got a 360 – I remember it didn’t have built in wifi, so I’d bring it downstairs to connect it with an ethernet cable to download demos and such. I seem to remember needing to activate codes for XBL Gold trials to do so at the time, I don’t think free XBL silver let you do that in the early days. I’d use my family’s portable DVD player as a mini monitor to navigate around, I may have even tried to play some multiplayer that way on the 7 inch screen.

It was a revelation when Halo 3 launched and I got to play it at a friend’s house whose dad had a 55 inch, Full HD TV in their living room. Pretty sure the relative size of the four way split screen was bigger and higher resolution than my regular CRT/VCR combo I had in my room.

Lots of packing that console in a duffle to a friend’s house to play LAN splitscreen of whoever had shelled out for XBL Gold or had gotten a free month or whatever.

I had always been a Nintendo kid, but the 360 was a great system to be in HS/College for.

I also had the Microsoft branded home router, the MN-700, and I remember calling my ISP once for internet help and the guy thought I was an idiot because I told him my router’s brand was Microsoft. I had to explain that it really was.
