It’s UE5, and CDPR has a track record of very controversial technical execution with their games. TW3 had a huge controversy regarding “downgraded” graphics compared to early footage, while CP2077 launched the way it did.
It’s honestly baffling to me how people can still buy into hype, after pretty much every AAA launch in the past 5 years (minus a *few* exceptions) has been a total shitshow.

The thing is, while The Witcher 4 looks gorgeous, remember that it’s running on Unreal Engine 5 and they will have to do some magic to make it run instead of walk on even 5090s

I’d definitely temper your expectations. It’s CDPR we’re talking about and its UE5. Witcher 3 was downgraded from the tech demo, this will be too. And when this game finally releases in 2033 it’s going to be an unfinished shitshow because that’s just how CDPR operates.

Last time I trusted a video of the tech demo from cdpr it was the one hour video of cyberpunk that later they admitted it was purpose made and had features that wouldn’t be in the game.
I’ll wait until it’s out for a couple weeks to be hyped this time.
