The swan song of the entire franchise. It’s been downhill ever since at an ever accelerating pace.
Also, that opening cinematic song fucking rocks! Every time I have to crank the volume just for that.

Oh man one of my all-time favorite games. So many lines have a permanent place in my memory. I love it. As cheesy as it is now in comparison to many other games this was just a damn good time.

Still remember the first time I played FFX as a kid. Had problems with some boss earlier on (I sucked lol) and ended up using a gameshark to give myself a bunch of bonuses.
By endgame I fucked myself. The battle with Yu Yevon, you gotta knock out his Aeons. I had Aeons set to auto-revive on death with the gameshark and could not disable it. Game breaker lol
Then I ended up buying it on 3-4 other platforms later in life lol

I’m such a weird FF player in that, growing up, I loved 8 and 9 more then 7 and 10. I’d say 8, 6, and 9 are my top three. I should probably revisit them all though and see how it holds up.
