I just starting playing battlefront 2 again 😉
I’ve always wanted a terminator game with base building and time travel mechanics. Premise is you go back in time to certain points to counter skynet attempts to end strategic personnel instrumental to the resistance.
It’s a class based game where you work in co op or multiplayer experience plus single player option where you have maps of places like a mall where you have to find your target, protect, and extract them to an incoming time portal while the other team tries to take them out. Think hitman mechanics for terminators.
In present day future times you’re building up a base for a big battle and the people you save become personnel on the base unlocking abilities, new base operations, tech, and or vehicles. It can also be their children that become part of your army. Think the mechanics here would be akin to fortress battles in shadow of war. There will be more frequent attempts to raid your base at key intervals if you don’t succeed with some key battles that will always happen.
Big battles will will be akin to terminator salvation. There will also be extraction missions in current future times to save operatives who go out on missions akin to XCom 2.
I hoped crisis 4 would come out this year but they stopped developing it 😢😢😢

OuterWorlds sucked tho, hardly any weapons or armor types, no explosives, no hand grenades-rpgs-missiles-claymores, nothing. Gun moddin was a joke, worse than New Vegas. Everyone had a quippy smartass way of talking, game was weak ass fuck yo
Wait, a new Painkiller!? Hopefully having 3 player coop doesn't ruin the single player experience. Excited for Borderlands 4, too, but sounds like I'll probably hold off. I waited outside a Gamestop at midnight for the Collectors Edition of Borderlands 2, also bought their other collector loot chest thing that came out later. That said, I'm not a _real fan_, since I'm not going to pay however much Randy wants to charge for it over normal MSRP, especially with the multiple season passes they like to do.

Just leaving my mark here in regards to Splitgate 2. Have been playing it since 1 week ago and it’s just so good. Gunplay and movement feels insanely smooth and satisfying too. And the cherry on top for me is the backstory behind it and the way the devs handle the feedback the community gives them.
Gotta be honest nothing on this list excites me more than a new Painkiller game!

Isn't Sand just Guns of Icarus but you know…. not in the air ?? hope they land this one, guns of icarus was a really cool concept but never really took off for the grand audience.
Glad we still getting singleplayer fps, they're the reason this genre still around, so tired of hearing that most of the epic looking ones are online only, pve etc 🤦🏾
CULTIC's episode 2 is supposed to release this year. Original plan was apparently Q2/25, but seems like the devs need a bit more time.
