I have tried opening inventory. tried restarting game etc. cant get rid of new item icon

    Same. I know it’s not affecting the game but this is killing me.

    It is a recent bug where the game does not confirm the items you have received as “seen”. Likely to be fixed soon.

    It happened to me too, and i guess its because of the cases i sold without inspecting

    I’ve been dealing with the same thing recently! Based on other comments it seems like it’s a bug that Valve needs to fix
