Yes it’s a game about strategy but sometimes playing the edge of the gas is more logical.
If the circle is on the open but the edge has a bit higher terrain, why would I just want to sit in the middle, wide open for all enemies to see me?
You already cough, visibly is horrible, taking health and plate damage. I’m totally lost on this.
It doesn’t make sense across the board in all scenarios therefore why implement this?
Gas plays (NOT STIM PLAYS) can be high IQ plays to win the game.

It’s likely to nerf stim plays and make gas masks that much more valuable. I agree it definitely takes away from those clutch moments when you decide to risk it all and rotate into the gas to reposition and come out on the other side. I just don’t understand the logic behind getting rid of shit like PA indicators and then adding in shit like this.
They’re doing everything they can to cater to bad players. When bad players get owned by good players too often they stop playing. If they aren’t playing they aren’t spending money. Activision knows this. That’s why it feels like you are constantly punished for being good at this game – because you are lol

Bruh like the fucking wheezing and coughing was not enough of an indicator. They DID say it was a bug, but they don’t have any idea how to fix it without breaking something else. Time to make it a feature.
Yeah like coughing sound, blurred vision and extreme idle sway isn’t enough. This one is just absurd. Make the gas stronger overtime or something instead, this is absurd. Hard enough to make a position rotation as it is in the gas, definitely an unnecessary patch. The circle is all random, this is just punishing people for trying.
Just turn off stim usage in the gas like muniboxes. Simple fix. But they don’t like simple I guess.
