The fighting game community is full of not just talented players all around the world but artists as well, and they now have the chance to have their work recognized officially and put into Street Fighter 6.
Capcom recently announced their Street Fighter Art Contest: New Challenger Edition to bring fan created art into the game.
This will be the second time Capcom is running such an event after doing a Street Fighter art contest last year as well.
The second contest is going to be slightly different, however, with all 26 characters including Elena getting one winner each, so there won’t be anyone left out this time around.
Winners will have their works featured in SF6 as New Challenger screen options to use in the game.
Submissions open on June 1 and run through June 29 where artists can submit their works using the #SF6ArtContest2 on X / Twitter.

Capcom will then curate their top choices that players get to vote on in the Battle Hub, which shall net them a special title as well as one for those artists who end up winning.
The final 26 winning pieces are going to be distributed to players for free at some point later this year.

Next week is shaping up to be a big one for Street Fighter 6 with its second anniversary event, the release of Elena, the big Season 3 update as well as the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.
