It was announced a few weeks ago that SNK would be holding a contest for the best custom colors made in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ Color Edit mode.

Many users flocked to X to post their submissions and after a few weeks, SNK have now published their winning picks which includes many different SNK character references and even a Salvatore Ganacci edit that is meant to represent Maximilian himself.

Today, the official Fatal Fury PR account announced the winners and showcased a few of them as pictures in their X post.

The main lineup was shown on their official website which features all of the winner, 12 costumes total, with most of them being smart references to other SNK characters like Samurai Shodown’s Cham Cham, King of Fighters’ Iori Yagami and The Last Blade’s Setsuna.

There’s also funny ones like a Hawaii-inspired Marco, a much more flashy Kain than you’re used to seeing and a Hokutomaru who take equal inspiration from his two masters Andy and Mai, making him look like he might even be their son.

You can check out the images of the costumes below.

The official site features some direct comments from the development team on the winners as well, so if you want to see what they had to say about all the creativity showcased here you can check out the site here.

My personal favorite is either the Iori-inspired Vox Reaper since they clearly had mapped out similarities with their fighting stance and the purple flames or the Hokutomaru as Mai and Andy’s son.

Which color edits did you like the most? Let us know in the comments.
