Be me, 30yo M
Get mad because you can't find the perfect case
Throw money at a 3D printer
Spend 8-10 months making a perfect case
Get hooked and create your own brand of cases
I enjoyed all your builds and I want to share mine
I'm not here for promotion per se,
so I won't post the name or website of my up-and-coming brand,
unless you specifically ask me. I'm not even selling them yet. But sooon… wish me luck

So much dust in the internals…. -10 points to Hufflepuff
I mean…. Throw a cube cover on it and you have the most powerful Xbox around
What even does this do
Yes, infact you can do this with anything (assuming we are limiting ourselves to electronics) just takes more time and planning
Not the fan of these open cases but this one is pretty good. It’s compact however all plugs are accessible for maintenance excluding maybe the atx24 plug which you don’t touch often anyway.
I also don’t like the idea of the io shield on the top side because of the cables mess

Print quality and finish looks good though, so credit where credit is due.
Everyone being harsh but I think it looks pretty cool
>but can you do THIS to your console?
What, bleach it? Uhh, probably… /s
Edit: Jokes aside, looks cool.
I don’t understand the title. If you can 3D print it, then surely “you can do this to your console”. Looks like fun gadget wise and it’s sure something different, but it’s not my taste.
My cat would love it.
Looks really sick! Nice work on the design, its a brutalist PC monument
Now put a case around it and the shape is very similar to the Xbox Series X… Different guts obviously
Sharp looking!!
Am I the only one that wishes they could color match components in something besides white?
console pea-owners could never
Looks really nice, I like side GPU idea.
could you mention the material for the print that u used
1. Dust
2. Looks fucking sick
That’s actually fire. I’m not usually an open case person, but this is really cool.
Idk but you can do stuff like this: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he6xyl_MHXY&t=1s&ab_channel=DIYPerks](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he6xyl_MHXY&t=1s&ab_channel=DIYPerks)
I wouldn’t even want to do this with my pc…
Nice case. I agree with your idea he sweet!. Question: where does one put an AIO vs air cooler? Perhaps future revisions can add a mound on the back of the case? Rather not couch where you have the GPU because that looks awesome. Just throwing out some ideas.
Greatly underappreciated design and post. Marvelous job OP!
DM me your page pls.
I think your design would greatly fit for modular setups with multiple builds in one case. Def would look for feedback and ideas in the homelab+datahoarder sub. I feel like there is a lack of affordable NAS/JBOD cases. Maybe you can lead us into a new age!
Edit: by modular I meant like, being able to pull these things out of a bigger hub/rack would be super cool.
I mean
You probably can, actually
Pretty cool concept. Now, put it all in a glass dome, cuz dust is real in some parts of the world.
Either that, or this whole rig needs to be water-cooled.
Damn, I like the design quite a lot! And I’d personally argue that it’s way better in terms of dust accumulation since there are way less tight enclosed spaces for it to get stuck to. And being able to blow it out without disassembling the case is a pro, not a con.
I feel like the only thing that would improve it is getting rid of the bulky air cooler and replacing it with a custom water loop. The proximity of the GPU to the CPU and the ample side area to mount the cooler practically beg for it.
If I didn’t have any pets this would be pretty cool to try. However, the magnetic dust filters on my current case are saving me a ton of time on cleaning
This is sick man, grats. All the people saying “dust” are classically undermining how much dust a regular case lets in, and also how easy it would be to dust this one. Dust is not a big deal…maybe don’t keep this case on your floor.
Anyways, my only suggestion is that you should put an easily removable hard cover/(front panel in your case??) over the back of the PSU…seems like an easy thing to do with your current design, and it would cover up the only somewhat messy part of this layout, the cables coming out of the PSU.
I love the adjustable vertical sag bracket for the GPU!
Definitely a Vibe, transparent case would be cool
Imagine cleaning that (or trying to)
I have planned to buy my own 3d printer and
these will make my decision much easier. Thanks 😅
I appreciate your dedication, and your work paid off. This is a nice twist on the open case.
Love the aesthetic, amazing work.
This is one of the coolest looking open cases I’ve seen. Best of luck with your store endeavors. 🙂
This thing will shudder and fail in my household of 5 dogs and 3 cats.
Ruin it? I guess, but why?
But why would I want to?
