I do this. The music is getting very repetitive and annoying now. It actually feels like CDPR put them allover the place to give "air time" to these not so know artists.

haha yes, its the first thing i do after killing everyone and before looting

  2. Grim_hound_0917

YES. God I get completely overwhelmed by the 32 radios on at the same time. I even shot some of them.

  3. In vanilla, yes. Now, thanks to mods, for me they also play something else than the same stuff.
If the radio tracklists werent so short and if there was more good music in it, the radios wouldnt be so annoying.

Turning them off with cyberdeck to spare walking to these

  5. ApplebeesDinnerMenu

There’s a few that you can’t turn off or even find, so I start lobbing explosives :

  6. SorryIreddit

Yeah. Sometimes (very often) I turn them off with my gun or an enemy body

  7. Sonicmixmaster

I should have mentioned it above but wont let me edit that I also blast the speakers except in some places the music is just there like there is a roof top near the Petrochem Dam that has music and no speakers anywhere.

  8. attackhamster42

Depends on whether I like the song that’s playing, ha ha.

  9. ksarlathotep

I will take my sights off the enemy in the middle of a fucking firefight to shoot a radio playing WE LIKE THE PAIN.

  10. Desperate_Apartment4

I shot anything that makes sounds so … yes?

  11. I made a custom radio station so it’s nice to hear gorillaz or kendrick amidst the usual cyberpunk music

  12. littletrainthattried

I only turn off the ones that play that annoying static.

  13. LivingEnd44

No. But I do tune them to my personal station I made with a mod. They will stay tuned to my station the rest of the game too.

  14. TheShaddowKing69

I just heard ‘I really wanna stay at your house’ on one and it fucking hurt me.

  15. mutepaladin07

You all are annoyed about the songs in the radios? What a flex you all have!

Just drown it out eith spraying lead and moving onwards in the missions. Haha.

  16. biochamberr

I break them so there is no chance of them turning back on, even later 😆

  17. ErectLurantis

I like to keep them on. Nothing like looking at the bloody aftermath of your work while Us Cracks is faintly playing in the background

  18. MadMaxBLD

I HATE that stupid lovey-dovey jazz song that constantly plays on the radio when V visits Judy or gets visited (I Really Want to Stay at Your House quest). And you CANNOT turn it off, and I don’t understand why!

  19. dhfAnchor

I just tune them to Body Heat or Morro Rock if I find them.

  20. Dead_Iverson

I modded in like 5 of my own radio stations and I switch them to mine every time.

  21. DukeLostkin

Wait, wait, wait… you mean I’m not the only one?

  22. Thigmotropism2

If by turn off you mean lash with my nano wires, yeah

  23. AirborneHighSpeed

Honestly, I wish there was an option to toggle them off globally.

  24. anynomousperson123

It’s not dead money, so I don’t have to. Unless they’re super annoying, I leave them on for ambience.

  25. Old-World2763

I do, because for some reason they overtake my own radio, and almost nobody listens to the best station in NC.

  26. Negi93160

I turned off the volume of the music and play with a Cyberpunk Vibes playlist on spotify

  27. Turn off the ones that are on, turn on the ones that are off. This is the way.

  28. Much_Adhesiveness871

The small radios inside rooms I understand being annoying but outside, there’s companies that play music or random frequent sounds around their building to deter loitering.

  29. I always turn music off. It is dreadful and unbearable. Not my cup of tea. The game on the other hand very much is.

  30. Longjumping-Citron52

You should visit Pacifica. Amazing musical variety over there!

  31. Long-Temperature-551

I don’t think I even knew this was an option. I’ve put prolly 150-200 hours into the game and just never noticed lmao. I guess the music didn’t bother me much
