Renowned content creator Kensou recently released a new tier list for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. These rankings were created based on Kensou’s own experiences from playing Fatal Fury and from watching Evo Japan 2025.
Similar to most other tier lists, Hotaru Futaba is recognized by Kensou as being the overall best character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves right now. Within Kensou’s tier list, she occupies the top spot by herself.
The second highest tier category contains Kain, Rock, Marco, Hokutomaru and Gato. It’s a little interesting to see Rock this high considering that nobody was able to make top 32 with the character at Evo Japan 2025.
Of course, it’s also interesting to note that Kensou rates Billy Kane being a little lower compared to most other tier lists. This is a particularly interesting placement considering that the character took third place at Evo Japan 2025.
Tizoc and Salvatore Ganacci sit together in the lowest tier category. Although Salvatore does tend to be on the lower part of most tier lists, Tizoc is often recognized as being the undisputed worst.
