My system is an i7-12700h + 3050 mobile 8GB vram variant (I dont even know how) from a chinese mini pc in a custom cooling case

1440p HDR (hdmi obv)

It scores 5619 in timespy, and zero artifacts in kombustor furmark-donut-6500mb for 30 minutes

Timespy demo stats https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/134268798

Temps never surpass 72C (Max from openhardwareinfo)

3Dmark says LOD changed by nvidia driver, but reinstalling or resetting settings didnt seem to do anything so I got no clue what that is about

I spent an hour going in +15mhz incriments until instability (1 second hang at +200 for both) in msi afterburner

60 watt TDP for gpu

Did I properly overclock this? Would it net in any real gains? I have never overclocked anything before

Check in games. Benchmarks don’t really tell you if your OC is stable. Play games and see if it crashes in any.

If it does, its not stable.

For real gains, you can only compare your FPS in stock vs your OC profile.

On a TDP-restricted part like this mobile 3050, just a simple offset OC is unlikely to net great gains. You’ll likely achieve a slightly better improvement by tuning the curve manually in Afterburner, especially pulling up the clocks at the lower voltage range that’s actually applied at load.

Pretty ass for messing with lod.
