I loved this game mode, especially the extended version. I have no idea why they removed it when they filed this game away as “old news”.
Fortunately I have Vanguard’s version, and Black Ops : Cold War has Nuketown 24/7 to feed the need, but I with this was back on the menu.

One problem was you could grind out season pass progression and even level progression in this game or the next one. You could unlock your Vanguard guns without playing Vanguard. They probably caught on to the fact that players were choosing to grind in the old game instead of the new one. People had fun on that map but it was also just objectively the best place to grind 99% of your challenges. And even now that we’re well past that seasonal content being an issue, Activision isn’t exactly paying Infinity Ward to look back at old games and make adjustments. It wouldn’t benefit Activision to be like “hey, go ahead and re-enable Shipment 24/7 in Modern Warfare 2019 so that a crapton of our Black Ops 6 players just leave for a while to goof off on Shipment”. The best business plan is to keep as many players as possible in the new game, while keeping tne old games still technically running just to maintain that idea of COD having a persistent legacy.
