Looks like they just AI upscaled textures and called it a day. Some HD mods did better job than this.
Really hope when they get to DoW2 they won’t be as lazy.

My one gripe as that sometimes the after in the before/after colour comparison seems to pop a lot less.
E.g. in the first comparison, it’s much harder to visually parse the individual units. The red is a lot less bright! Why!? It makes it harder to tell the orks and the guardsmen apart

I love the OG but playing the game in shitty crop and resolution always was awful. Gladly there were mods but when the game runs good on its own I am 100 buying it.
I rather have a remaster that just makes QoL adjustments and better resolution than whatever the wc3 remaster was.

He can’t talk about future projects but I do get the impression they’re testing the waters
Im buying it. Still remember playing this game semi competitive in ESL. Those where the times. Its an insanely well made rts.
