People acting like GPUs are unsuable if they don’t come up with more than 8 GB.
The truth is, low tier GPUs could come with 16 GB or even 24 GB. It wouldn’t help much if game devs don’t care about optimization. They would see that now low tier GPU has 24 GB and mid tier is 32 GB and they would be all like: “That’s it then – as long as our game doesn’t use more than 32 GB for lowest settings, we are good.”
It’s not hardware that is the issue. Few years ago 8 GB was enough even for 4K gaming and those games looked good already. Now we get smeared mess that needs ridiculous amount of VRAM to run.
