First thing i’ve been uninstalling for years after every fresh windows setup.

My files are mine alone, if i want to take them somewhere i’ll grab a pendrive or something, not give them to M$

Just rip it out of the system? Its an app, not a core part of windows.

Not having any online backup is just foolish these days

Jesus. I bought into the bullshit earlier this year. I thought, “maybe this is a good idea to keep a backup on the cloud and not have to worry about stuff.”

I take a lot of pictures for my work. Months go by and I get a message saying I ran out of storage and 90% of everything I thought was on my PC was actually not on my PC. Well, on my PC but hidden. Plus, I couldn’t access it through OneDrive. Or, OneDrive wouldn’t sync until I cleared space or bought more storage. All my files, all my desktop icons, everything vanished.

I felt like I did the first time I ever had a PC problem back in the Pentium II days. Like I didn’t know wtf was going on and found myself in a panic.

After a bunch of trial n error mixed with frantic research, I figured out where all my stuff was.

Then, spent the next hours removing the whole OneDrive scenario off my beloved computer once and for all.

Fuck you Microsoft OneDrive and all your lies and confusing ass methods. What a piece of shit software.
