Did people honestly expect any different from Randy Pitchford and Boderlands. Dude is scummy af and has been leading really crappy practices since at least BL2, with BL3 having multiple “definitive” iterations just to nickel and dime you further. Not to mention his shady behind the scenes stuff, like what he did to Aliens Colonial Marines.
I wouldn’t expect anything less from him, and don’t plan on getting this game until its final compilation is on sale.

I mean he’s not wrong but also that’s a dick way to say it. Oblivion remastered came out two days before payday for me and I made the decision to credit card that shit because I’m a huge fan of the game. That being said, there is a very small number of games I would do that for and borderlands ain’t one of them.
He’s not wrong tho. People will gladly pay $80 for it or even $100 for 3 day early access. Not me tho cuz I’m not a fan of Borderlands.
