Elena is set to join Street Fighter 6 as the final Year 2 Character Pass challenger on June 5, 2025 (the same day that the Switch 2 is released). Fans that attended Evo Japan 2025 got the opportunity to try Elena out early at the event.

During a recent video, BST|Daigo Umehara can be observed talking to his viewers about Elena’s Healing in Street Fighter 6. Initially, Daigo believed that Healing was attached to Elena’s super art 1 when it’s actually part of her super art 2.

Ultimately, it’s been determined that Elena can sacrifice a chunk of damage for her level 2 super art in return for 1,500 points of health recovery. Being that she most likely has 10,000 hit points (like most of the cast thus far), this equates to about 15% of her health bar.

“You can choose whether to go for more damage or healing with super art 2?” begun Daigo. “I see. I wonder if this would be a good super art. I’d say it’s probably better than a normal super art 2.”

What Daigo meant by this is that Elena’s super art 2 will likely be better than that of Ryu and Ken’s. However, it will have a difficult time comparing to the likes of Blanka, JP and Rashid as their level 2 super arts are among the best supers in the game (even when compared to level 3 super arts).

Ultimately though, Daigo wonders how relevant Elena’s Healing trick will be if Street Fighter 6 retains throw loops. Additionally, Daigo brings up how Elena’s Healing was strong in Street Fighter 4 due to how it functioned based on the Revenge Gauge, allowing it to even be used multiple times in a round.

In the situations in which Elena is able to use her Healing trick twice in a Street Fighter 6 round, she’ll end up having 13,000 life to work with, which would make her bulkier than Zangief. Of course, Daigo wonders if it would just be better to just inflict the maximum amount of damage possible with Elena’s super art 2 rather than Healing in most situations.
