For a legendary, this gun barely changes the geometry apart from the boosters at the back. Remove those and it looks exactly like a free rare or uncommon skin for the AK.
Plus I haven't seen how it looks while ADSing but judging from its geometry, it doesn't look much different from the default.
Compared to the Amax and Baton skins, this really feels like a let down.
Is anyone actually excited for this?

But I like this skin very much, especially because it will be my first AK47 blueprint in 6 years of playing
What were you expecting?? This was Cold War’s first Mastercraft. A better one came out later, but this was also a dud there.

Nah not really. And I’m sure they’re probably gonna change some stuff on how it looks especially the iron sight. They already did it by remixing the ak117 lava skin.
Did we see it in game? In the test server? Or are we still talking about the model from the other cod games?
They have been known to tweak design when importing guns from other cods like the krig6 icedrake or the gks unicorn

Ngl this feels like a break from the regular flashy themes of recent CODM legendaries. I like me some simple uet good looking Mastercraft camos.
I find it pretty nice. It may look basic compared to most legendary ak47 skins, but it’s a free legendary nonetheless. Not to mention it’s a BOCW port.

I get your point but i still think its a cool blueprint, especially if they include the custom inspection. And also codm will probably change the design a bit too make it seem more like a legendary blueprint

It’s free, and it’s an AK47 so it’s nice. This game rarely gives free an AK47 blueprint with different geometry (Red Action II is the only one I can remember 🤔)
Design wise, it’s as good as other legacy blueprints, it’s a port from other CoD, so there’s not much they can do about it…
Btw, if it’s like any other legacy, it should have custom inspection and be reactive. If you take those two away, it’s just an epic blueprint with a kill effect. 🗿

Well that’s still CW form. Most MasterCrafts we get transferred into legacy or mythic skin. So I also wonder how they will approach to port this skin into codm. Will we get legacy treatment or just bare minimum. We still don’t know what the kill effect looks like as well cause all the port skin had codm original kill effect. Also to mention that from all 3 MasterCraft ported 2 of them got a redesign of their Iron sights. Tbh I won’t make a fuss about it. It’s free & it is a decent gun for BR players. Take it with a pinch of salt.
Yep. And it was underwhelming in cold war.
Frostband is way better than this in both looks and sights minus the kill effects
