    it’s basically what happens when you play 4:3 stretched. just not on the top and bottom part.

    no you can only reduce horizontal fov I’m pretty sure

    you could achieve this with lossless scaling

    Just get a super wide or large monitor like the ark. Same deal.

    You’ll lose all your stats if you did it your way.

    You can definitely do it with some monitors but I dont think its really very useful.
