Try SWTOR. Over a decade old game and my jaw is still on the floor when I see Coruscant.

Have not played it yet, i never watched star wars or anything related to it, do i need to know what happened in the movies to know what is happening in the game?

I hope the next Jedi is full open world full of cities and NPCs with planets, Spaceship gameplay and not so reliant on souls design where everything feels like your enemy

I gotta say, I was a bit disappointed in how Andor shied away from showing Coruscant like this, but it’s understandable. (Especially because most of the scenes involve rich people, so they living on the surface makes sense)
Is the memory leak fixed yet on PC. I loved that opening too but didn’t get past it because of the leak.
That game really embodied what a sequel is supposed to be. Just a straight-up upgrade from the first one. I do wish they could figure out a better map that doesn’t suck though lol

This game was pretty meh, so it fits well with Star Wars overall.
I liked it, particularly the verticality. But the level design is a little frustrating. It’s very linear, only one path and basically no side branches. Some stuff opens up later in Metroidvania style but even that is pretty shallow, basically just extra loot.
It sure is beautiful! Just wish the game had more open level design.
Yeahhhhh I enjoy the game and I finished it but no. You explore back alleys,run on billboards and you explore a docking/industrial sectors.

And Survivor improved in every way. Still some annoying level design but as a Star Wars game and sequel it is awesome.
That opener where he’s staring at the former jedi temple was great. No dumb line about it or anything, just Cal having an subtle emotional reaction to seeing something that only the fans will recognize.
It’s not just a member berry, it effects the characters’ emotions, which then effect the plot. It pisses him off, and later in the mission his anger gets the better of him.
I don’t think this was the best written or directed game overall, but it sure got off to a great start.

Absolutely, I almost only play the game for the first section, which also feels completely like Starwars. After that it’s just boring canyons and deserts like you know from reality for the next 4-8 hours. Where are the impressive planets like Zeffo, Mustafa or Dathomir? I’d like to see Bogano at night when little lights shine out of the workshops everywhere. No. We really need another desert. Design -1. Sorry, I’ve gone off the rails.

Visually nice, but the “immersion” you mention is very lacking. I love that game, but Coruscant is barely a rooftop tour.

I don’t mean to be negative because I love Jedi Survivor, but why immersive? It’s extremely linear and there isn’t much to interact with in that level. It’s very pretty, yes, but immersive not so much.
Ph yea. Not controversial at all. This game’s depiction is great and only missing like a highly populated civilian area.
I got this game on sale for like 5 bucks and still havnt played it. It’s on my bucket list but there has been so many good games coming out lately i have not had time. Looks awesome though.
